Curtis L. Harnagel is an award-winning creative director, consultant, and producer known for his innovative vision, diverse skill set, and ability to turn bold ideas into exceptional experiences.  Curtis collaborates with a wide range of clients—including national nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, and corporate consulting—blending creativity with business acumen.  His dynamic work spans live entertainment, multimedia production, dance, and business consulting. 

Curtis's creative journey began in his youth, inspired by movie musicals,

TV performances, and stage productions.  He pursued his passion at

the University of North Texas, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Radio, Television, and Film.  His highlighted achievements include lighting design for an Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera pilot production to creative direction for award-winning dance teams and choirs.  Curtis’s versatility allows him to thrive in roles as a director, designer, editor, and producer—often blending these talents into cohesive and innovative projects.

As a creative director and producer, Curtis’s expertise lies in combining high-level creative concepts with meticulous logistical planning.  He’s known for his ability to coordinate complex projects, in a variety of venues, managing budgets, and handling intricate timelines.  Curtis’s work is showcased on national platforms, including millions of views on his GESAMTCURTISWERK YouTube account and America’s Got Talent, where his contributions have elevated performances to wide audiences.

A recognized leader, Curtis’s work has earned several awards including the Silver Remi Award for the Documentary Short Tango Passional along with multiple accolades for his work with dance competition performances, creative direction, and design.  Merging his merchandising background with his consulting work across industries exemplifies his ability to innovate.  His forward-thinking approach, combined with a proven track record of driving results, positions him as a visionary leader who consistently delivers value and fosters long-term success for both clients and stakeholders.

As a consultant, Curtis works across a variety of industries, supporting nonprofit organizations and educational institutions.  His passion for mentorship allows him to give back to the community while helping elevate projects to the next level.  His philosophy of blending diverse skills and interests into a cohesive whole—what he calls GESAMTCURTISWERK—is a cornerstone of his creative process.  This "Total Work of Curtis" approach fuses different elements into a unified, dynamic vision, one that is adaptable and consistently impactful.
